Kozhikode: The foundation stone of the Seva Mandir being built under the leadership of Seva Bharathi on the premises of Kozhikode Medical College was laid on May 18, 2025 by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh senior pracharak Shri A Gopalakrishnan (Seema Jagaran Manch Akhil Bharatiya Samrakshak). He also delivered the keynote address at the event. We Indians believe that it is a sin to live only for one\'s own stomach in human life, and Swami Vivekananda calls a person who cooks food only to fill his stomach a sinner or a thief. That is, the idea that we have received from ancient times is to serve all living beings with a divine mind. There is a divine element in them, and therefore it is the duty of every human being to alleviate their suffering, he said in his keynote address.
Shri U.N. Haridas, the North Prant Sahasambarka Pramukh of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, delivered the message of service at the meeting.
The service-minded Kottamparamba Hindu Cultural Committee donated two acres of land, Mrs. Sarojini Pallath donated 3.5 cents of land and a house, and Mr. Muraleedharan Raja and his wife Dr. Savitri Raja donated six cents of land for the service activities of Seva Bharathi. Also, Mr. C. Vinod Krishnan & Vinaya donated a fund of Rs. 25 lakhs for the construction of a Seva Mandir in the memory of their sister Padmaja.

(President, Seva Bharathi Chevayoor), Shri Vinod Krishnan (General Convener, Seva Mandir Development Committee), Shri P.M. Muraleedharan (Secretary, Seva Bharathi Chevayoor) spoke on the occasion.
The Seva Mandir, which will be designed in an eco-friendly manner, will be the base for various health and social service activities. The Seva Mandir will be a symbol of Seva Bharathi’s long-standing social commitment…
